so here i am, writing my first poker update: as you might know from reading adam22 i broke my ankle which means my normal life of girls, bikes and poker is now limited to just poker. online. and tv. i enter the no spin zone regularly. i also just got my first ever royal flush, which got me a 45 or so dollar pot as well as a 300 dollar bonus from pokerroom ( they reward you with 100x the small blind when you get one ). so that was nice, it came during a very slow session in which i went down in the hole around 200 bucks almost right away and then had just finished working my way back up to about even. i've almost got enough player points to enter another 50+4, plus i'm playing the 6000 freeroll tomorrow. i would detail my bb/hour and all that too but i don't feel like digging it up, maybe later. so i just found out that dietrech apparently doesn't want to move into the apartment. and we're supposed to have the deposit to the landlord by tomorrow morning so either i convince him tomorrow morning/tonight or i spend yet another month in apartment limbo. it was too good to be true. | | Sunday, March 6th, 2005 | | 6:35 pm |

you see blood in the snow after the shots in december.
a couple things: miami was fun. the bus ride took almost 24 hours. it was horrible. there were no empty seats so i had to sit staring forward sitting straight up. then after being on the bus for 15 hours we stopped and this red headed bitch who worked for greyhound decided that even though the place where i got on the bus didn't charge me for my bike, i had to pay 15 bucks for it all of a sudden. so i did, but then the bus left without me. the big black jerk of a bus driver looked right at me and took off. i hate him. so a very angry adam22 got to miami and went and hung out with my parents and sister and her friend for a while and had a good time. i went riding but didn't find anything for like 3 hours. it was still fun though. then i got the worst sun burn ever and im still recovering. i love it though, i do that shit all the time. i'm back in nashua. this is good because i can hang out with tardif and my boys and play poker somewhere other than panera. it's bad because it's cold. but it's not that bad. tonight i guess we might go to this dude burger's ramps in mass in a barn or some shit. i love my parents and my sister's allright although she's a huge whore. i got a new apartment! it's in astoria again, this time off of steinway street or some bullshit. it's on top of a store so we can be as loud as we want at night, plus put a trampoline and a telescope on the roof. it's 1600 total with 3 rooms and a living room that dietrech is using as his room. so basically with internet and heat and electricity it'll be like 450 a month. not bad at all for new york. i'm stoked to have my own room again so i can paint and play poker uninterupted and shit without the zany asian mike yoe looking over my shoulder. better tell those hot heads "stay cool" or exit, 'cause im the exception to the rule.
so today was my second to last full day in pensacola. i went to bed at 2 am, 2 hours earlier than my typical bed time of 4 and still woke up at the same time i usually wake up at ( 1 pm ). that's a lot of sleep. regardless, evan and i went and met up with his friend robbie from alabama. he's a rad kid who had this girl with him who rode around all day on some junkie ass mountain bike with a really complicated kick stand. we rode this bank to ledge that was really fun and i did a barspin to pedal stall to 270 and evan did a long carving manual to peg stall. it was good. we filmed it. it was also the first time i did a disaster on a decent bank to ledge. so then we went to big chris's ramp and waited for the ramp rats to finish up. then went to downtown mobile and evan charged this 7 stair rail and grinded up it. he didn't pull it til a few tries later but him and robbie both got it done and it was rad. evan tried to 180 out of it which is kind of bizarrely good and he almost pulled it. we rode more street around there too and that robbie character really impressed me, he almost pulled this manual on a kind of thin ledge to gap 180 into some grass with no brakes. i guess he rides alone in alabama like constantly which is what i should be doing and plan on doing. right before we left downtown i tried to grind up the rail though, i was stoked that i went for it even though i probably grinded up half of it at most. the fact that i went for it a few times made me stoked since any time you grind up a rail its a big bunnyhop and a really weird feeling. theres a perfect rail to grind up in new york though so i'll be stoked to get back there and try it at the police plaza. i know i can do it you just have to go so fast to get to the top of a rail and ride out clean that its challenging to jump that high going that fast. so then we went to some dead man wallride that it would be ridiculous to see someone try. then to this bank to rail/fence thing. i filmed this kid eric doing a pedal pick on it which was rad since it was way above handlebar and evan took a picture of me doing a wallride on the side of the rail, on the uprights and hopefully it'll come out good. so yeah that was my second to last day here in short ( or in long ). tomorrow i'll probably go riding again and then it's the lucero show at x park. i'm totally stoked on it, probably moreso than i've ever been for a show, they're so good. then miami til the 4th. so basically i'll be back in nashua in like 5 days, that is so fucked but pretty cool too. | | Thursday, February 24th, 2005 | | 5:47 pm |
so yesterday my friends kenny and ben left pensacola to go back to texas. kenny is coming back on monday but i'm leaving for miami on sunday after the lucero show so it was goodbye. which sucks because they're the coolest people i've met in florida that i didn't know before i got here. so before they left we watched that movie "Ray" at their apartment. it was really good and got me thinking about how much i want to have kids. of course the problem with having kids is that you presumably need an appropriate woman to have the kids with. but then i started thinking that like... maybe i should just start impregnating girls in a couple years regardless of their personalities. i mean, sure they would have faulty genes but i'd presumably have an income far greater than theirs, so it wouldn't be difficult to get custody. then i could take these couple of kids that i would then have and raise them myself, possibly with a female caretaker from some foreign bridal joint or something. so basically the point is, i can have kids whenever i want to, without having to worry about some dumb hoe and her bad genes. as long as she's at least 4 stars on the rating scale, she can have my kids, because i don't want to have an ugly baby, i'm finna throw it away if it comes out looking like a troll. over 2000 dollars, at least 40 sandwiches and an estimated 200+ hours later, adam22's era of playing poker at panera seems to have come to a sad end. they tried many different ways to block me from running the poker room software and finally they seem to have gotten it right. schueler has offered to help me set up a proxy or something that will allow me to continue but i feel that i will just be forced to spend this next week playing in the library. bon voyage panera. | | Tuesday, February 22nd, 2005 | | 8:50 pm |
" There's absolutely no question that it's unethical for parents to bring up their children as strict vegans. " i don't care if this guy gets a check in the mail once a month from KFC, this is a good solid study of which i agree with. http://www.nature.com/news/2005/050221/full/050221-5.htmlAND YES DAVIN I ONLY MADE THIS POST TO UPSET YOU, I REFUSE TO CARE WHAT PEOPLE EAT. | | Saturday, February 19th, 2005 | | 9:47 pm |
so i got more than my swagger back, listen here homie; mr. mick jagger's back.
so i didn't go to alabama because i hate contests, my back hurts and didn't really feel like it. however, my back feels a lot better than when i left NH and even a lot better than when i was still in NYC. so i've got like a week before i go to miami, then another week and back to nashua for a week or two and then to new york. i'm very excited for this summer in nyc. has anyone noticed in that song "narc" by interpol he's basically screaming "myspace" over and over in the chorus? that's dedication. i wonder how much tom paid him for that shit. i chew rocks. ADAM22 NEWS: i am still in pensacola. i got distracted yesterday by going riding all day and i am still waiting on a package in the mail so i'm here for at least a couple more days. i am probably going to alabama tomorrow for 2 days for a contest. i have slim to no interest in contests and i've only been to one in my whole life but i figure it'll be a good chance to get some footage, hang out and ride some new street shit. BLOGGING NEWS www.ohthatsrich.net is my friend and keara's sex partner, Jarrod Shanahan's blog. it's pretty interesting for someone like me who gets most of his political information through watching the o'reilly factor when it's replayed at 3 am. M0NSTER NEWS my friend mike aka m0nster off of b9 has gotten his aids test back and is clean. i plan on getting mine soon and although i'm sure i'll be clean to it'll at leats make me feel like i've accomplished something for the day. POKER NEWS after playing 3/6 for a week i've switched back to 2/4. 3/6 is way more aggressive and full of better players than 2/4. it sucks regressing but i was getting outplayed too consistently on 3/6 and i couldn't even really tell you why. that was too much for me to take. i also spent way less time playing 2/4 than i did 1/2 or any limit before it, so it's probably a testament to taking your time in between limits. so that's about it for now. GO GO GO GO GO GO GO GO GO
i realized today that i'm totally sick of being in pensacola and riding the same ledges every day and sleeping in the same bed every night. i think i'm getting on a bus tonight to clear water to round up this winter excursion. if i'm going to live this life of a vagabond i think i owe it to myself to leave any situation that isn't completely fufilling my desires. HILARIOUS SHIT TALES FROM ADAM22'S MIND
yesterday someone on bmxboard made a post saying "remember that time that Grammy ( me ) made a post about fingering his own ass and asked if anyone else did it?" which is true, i made a post on bmxboard like 5 or 6 years ago asking that question and everyone flipped out and called me gay. which is true, i am gay, but regardless of all that apparently everyone on there still remembers it. so someone bringing that story up led to me telling some of the funnier shit stories of my life: i once thought i had really bad diaheria when i was in 7th grade so i figured that i could take a diaheria shit and it would go right down the drain in the toilet. obviously that did not happen and a solid log came out which i then had to pick up and put in the toilet. pretty much the same thing happened to my friend jared once except he knew that it was going to be a log and left it there. his dad found it and flipped out and said he was going to send him to a psychologist. what was even weirder was after he shit in the shower he went upstairs and watched some bike videos with our friend chris and didn't even bother to tell him that he just pooped in the shower. i also once had a girlfriend who was taking a shit and it didn't feel like it was going to keep coming out so she reached down and pulled the turd out of her butt. *censored* oh and earlier this year my asian room mate woke up in the middle of the night and went to the bathroom then went back to bed. i didn't think much of it til i woke up in the morning and there was shit on the toilet seat. kid took a shit in his sleep and missed the bowl. when i was in 9th grade and had just started to go riding with "the cool kids" ( kids i'm friends with now who i didn't really know at the time, i just knew they were a lot better than me, we went to KFC and got free food from some girl who we used to know who worked there and a few minutes after we got the food, my friend mikey climbed a tree and dropped a massive shit from a tree for no reason. it landed right near me and made a loud thud. on the first ever since the flood tour we were all walking around a mall in upstate new york and we found a shoe box. i took the shoebox in the bathroom and took a shit in it. luke, the drummer was planning on bringing the box back out there and leaving it in the foot locker but it became crushed and wet from the piss that came out so we just left it in the bathroom. one time i went on a road trip with a couple guys and my friend tardif was too scared to take a shit in the girl we were staying with's house so he left the house at 5 am and rode his bike to a school yard where he climbed 2 massive fences, took a shit in the woods, then climbed the fences again to get back to her house. then he realized he still had to shit so he climbed the fences again and pooped again, this time wiping with a leaf. my friend cory believes that he can tell by the feeling of a shit when it comes out wether he has to wipe or not. he considers wiping a luxury. MORE TO COME. | | Sunday, February 13th, 2005 | | 5:03 pm |

tsunamai comments are weird.
there is apparently a new type of aids out that can kill you within like 3 months.... which sucks in my opinion, why mess with what works? check out the link: http://abcnews.go.com/Health/US/story?id=492250&page=1adam twenty two: the whole good part of aids is that you get 10 years to hang out adam twenty two: that takes all the good out of it m0nster one: and spread it adam twenty two: HAHAHHA adam twenty two: exactly. give it to virgins. | | Friday, February 11th, 2005 | | 8:30 pm |
lucero are without a doubt the best band of any genre playing music at this point in history, yet all but a few of the people on my friends page are devoid of any love for them because they are not in enough people's myspace interests. |
